RARE FRENCH WW2 AIR FORCE OFFICERS DAGGER in BOX, MODEL 1934
All metal parts of the hilt, crossguard, and scabbard fittings are gilded, navy blue plastic grip, nickel plated blade, with two retention springs, is marked "BERAUDY, VAURE, -55- AMBERT" wood scabbard covered with fine grained leather.
Complete with original knot, hangers and a box. The Air Force Officer Dagger more rare than other military daggers.
CONDITION: Excellent.
SIZE: L: 16 inches (40.5 cm).

As of early 2017, the French Air Force employs a total of 41,160 regular personnel. The reserve element of the air force consisted of 5,187 personnel of the Operational Reserve.
