A French silver, ivory and glass vanity set - Art Deco period, early 20th Century
composed by a cut glass and elephant ivory (Loxodonta africana Blumenbach, 1797 or Elephas maximus Linnaeus, 1758) tray and four silver mounted cut glass bottles with elephant ivory lids. Tray 35 x 20 x 3 cm, bottles heights 8.3 / 11.5 / 13.5 / 14.5 cm. Total weight 2649 gr. Fully hallmarked with French marks after 1838 used in Paris for 800/1000 silver, silversmith "E G". Item condition grading: **** good . Ce.S.Ar. Certificate of antiquity (pre-1947).
