An engraving "Grand kniaz departing from to pilgrimage" from the book" Travels of the Ambassadors sent by Frederic, Duke of Holstein, to the Great Duke of Muscovy and the King of Persia" by Adam Olearius. On the back there is a faint pencil inscription. Adam Olearius (1599, Aschersleben - February 22, 1671, Gottorp Castle, Schleswig) - German traveler, geographer, orientalist, historian, mathematician and physicist.As the secretary of the embassy sent by the Schleswig-Holstein Duke Frederick III to the Persian Shah, he wrote down and published his notes collected during the trip.
