Ð Badge of the Life Guards 1st Artillery. Instituted on June 20, 1909. The badge is a four-pointed cross surmounted with the Imperial Russian crown. The center of the badge features a lion head holding a cannon in its teeth. The design is based on a copy of the Pushkar (cannonier) badge from the reign of Alexei Mikhailovich). There are dates around lion head: 1683, 1796, 1816, 1909. There are four relief ciphers at the ends of the cross rays: on the left, it is Peter I, on the right Paul I, on the bottom - Alexander I, on the top - Nicholas II.Weight:
