Words of aggadah ... sermons ... commentary ... on the Holy Scriptures, by Rabbi Pinchas Leib Frieden, rabbi of Komárno [Kemorn].

The author, Rabbi Pinchas Leib Frieden, was a rabbi in Hungary [1802-1873]. He was a rabbi in Bonyhád and then in Komárno. There is a lengthy dedication on the title page by the author's grandson, Rabbi Ben Tziyon Webber, son of Rabbi Mordechai Eliezer Webber of Mád [Mada] and Jerusalem, who was the author's son-in-law.

Fine-very fine condition. Stains on the title page. Dismantled binding.
