MANUSCRIPT LETTER OF BLESSINGS FROM THE FAMOUS REBBE OF PRZEWORSK – ANTWERP, REB ITZIKEL GEWIRTZMAN, BLESSING THE RECIPIENT ‘TO MERIT CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN ENGAGED IN TORAH AND MITZVOS WITH YIRAS SHAMAYIM’.
Letter wishing good health, peace of mind to learn Torah, and children and grandchildren engaged in Torah and mitzvos with yiras Shamayim. At the end of the letter, the Rebbe of Przeworsk sends regards to Rabbi Avraham David Horowitz, Rabbi of Strasbourg.
Rabbi Moshe Yitzchak Gewirtzman (1882-1977), known as ‘Reb Itzikel’ of Przeworsk, son of Rabbi Naftali Elimelech, a descendant of the Noam Elimelech of Lizhensk. Disciple of the chassidic rebbes of Sieniawa and Cieszanow. Lived in Przeworsk, and after WWII in Paris and Antwerp, where he became greatly revered for his saintliness and his charitable acts and miracles.
