RABBI YERUCHAM TEITELBAUM, DIRECTOR OF KOLLEL LVOV IN YERUSHALAYIM, TO RABBI AVRAHAM MOSHE DELIMA, DEPUTY HEAD OF PEKIDIM VE’AMARKALIM IN AMSTERDAM.


Letter dated 1890, sent from Yerushalayim to the Pekidim Ve’amarkalim in Amsterdam, questioning a reduction in the donation received by Kollel Lvov from Baron Shimon Wolf Rothschild.

Rabbi Yerucham Teitelbaum (1823-1899), son of Rabbi Meshulam Zalman Yehonasan of Tarnow, a descendant of Rabbi Moshe Teitelbaum of Ujhely. Son-in-law of (I) Rabbi Meir Cahana of Tshetshowitz and (II) Rabbi Moshe David Stieglitz of Tarnow. Settled in Yerushalayim and served for a time as director of the Kollel Lvov – Galicia.
