Letter dated 1949, expressing thanks to Rabbi Aharon Benzion Shurin for his self-sacrifice for the existence of the Yeshiva.
Rabbi Eliyahu Meir Bloch (1895-1955), son of Rabbi Yosef Leib Bloch – Rosh Yeshiva of Telz. Appointed lecturer at the Telz Yeshiva in 1928. Escaped to America in 1941, together with his brother-in-law Rabbi Chaim Mordechai Katz, and together they re-established the Telz Yeshiva in Cleveland, together with other Torah educational institutions. Rabbi Bloch was a leading rabbinical figure in post-WWII America.
