YESHUOS YAAKOV, COPY BELONGING TO RABBI SHMUEL SHMELKE KLEIN, RABBI OF SZOLLOS (SELISH), AND TO RABBI CHAIM MOSHE CAHANA – MOSKOWITZ, RABBI OF SZOLLOS (SELISH).

Yeshuos Yaakov on Orach Chaim, part 2, first volume. Zolkiew 1828.
This book was first in the possession of Rabbi Chaim Moshe Kahana – Moskowitz, ‘...purchased for the sum of 3 kronen ... hakatan Chaim Moshe Kahana, residing here in Sulisz (Szollos)’
About three years after Rabbi Kahana’s passing, he was succeeded by the famous Rabbi Shmuel Shmelke Klein, who purchased this book from the estate of the previous rabbi, as his son confirms in two inscriptions: The first one reads: ‘This book was purchased by my father the gaon, from the the estate of the great luminary mentioned above, hakatan Yaakov son of the gaon Rabbi Shmuel Shmelke, currently residing in Tetsch.’ A similar inscription on the other side of the page.
There is a marginal note in manuscript on page 285.
