The title page bears the stamp of Rabbi Ben Tzion Weisel of Turda..

Rabbi Ben Tziyon Weisel (1864-1938) was rabbi of Russisch and in 1898, he succeeded his father as rabbi of Turda. He was one of the most prominent rabbis of his generation, head of the Orthodox bureau of Transylvania rabbis, his son-in-law and successor was Rabbi Yosef Adler, 'the gaon of Turda, ' who ascended to Jerusalem.
