Bronze medal issued in honor of the establishment of Rishon LeTziyon. One side has the year ה'תרמ"ב inscribed under the view of the new colony and the inscription [Hebrew]: The first ones to come to Tziyon [will announce]: Behold they are here, and I will send a herald to Jerusalem - The colony of Rishon LeTziyon. The second side bears a star of David and a farmer sowing seeds and a Jew at the Western Wall, surrounded by the inscription [Hebrew]: If I forget thee, Jerusalem, may my right hand be forgotten. Who shall give from Tziyon the salvation of Israel."
