Sefer LiFlagot Reuven, fifth section of the six orders of mishnah, by the Ra'ava"d of the HaEdah HaCharedit of Jerusalem, Rabbi Zelig Reuven Bengis.
Dedication from the 14th of Shevat, 1949 [chronogram: יא לס' "ושמרתם את בריתי]. It was sent to Tiberias to the well-known activist and philanthropist Rabbi Yosef Levi Chagiz, accompanied by many blessings.
Rabbi Zelig Reuven Bengis [1864-1953] was born in Lithuania and studied at first at the yeshivah in Volozhin, where he was known as an extreme prodigy ["עילוי"]. His rabbi, the Netzi"v, referred to him as a living Sha"s. He served as rabbi in Bdaki, Simlinsk and Calvary.
