Puritani Di Sinistra is an original artwork realized in the 1870s by Antonio Manganaro.
This satirical print is plate n. XXXVI (as printed on the higher part of the artwork) from "The album of the 500" (Album dei 500), Tipografia De Angelis, Naples, and represents a satirical scene of Italian politicians of the late XIX century.
The print represents the caricatures of four influential politicians of the end of the XIX century: Tommaso Villa, Antonio Corrado, Giuseppe Ferrari, and Angelo Mazzoleni.
On the back, there is the biography of the aforementioned politicians.
Signed on plate on the lower right: Manganaro. Date printed on the lower left: 1872.
Good conditions, except for the yellowed paper due to time and some light foxings.
