A silver Tetradrachm in the name of Alexander III 'the Great', Mesambria (ca. 150-125 B.C.E.). Obv.: Head of Herakles facing right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev.: Zeus seated left on throne, holding scepter; In inner left field, helmet above ΔA; monogram below throne. On right and left, Greek inscription AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ BAΣIΛEΩΣ (' of King Alexander').
