A silver Half Shekel of Tyre. Obv: Laureate head of Melkarth, the Phoenician Hercules facing right; lion skin around his neck. Rev: Eagle standing left on prow in centre; to left date and club of Hercules below; monogram and KP to right, Phoenician B between legs; Greek inscription around, ' of Tyre the sacred and the city of refuge'.
20½ – 21 mm. 6.48 gr. axis 12. Date CY 142, 16/7 C.E. Valerius Gratus.
