2 volumes from a pocket edition of Mishnayot, Seder Zra’im and Nashim, with Nekudot HaKosef—Venice 1756.
1. Zra’im, with Nekudot HaKosef, “divided for the 29 days to study the 18 chapters every day of every month.” Not found in the National Library. The back of the title page has the flag of the printer, an introduction in Latin, and another introduction by the grammarian Rabbi David ben Shlomo Altoros who corrected this edition, plus a prayer for before study, and Sefer Yetzirah, chapter 1 at the end with a prayer to be recited before studying it. 83 leaves in the original, this copy has 80.
2. Nashim with Nekudot HaKosef, missing the title page. According to the pagination it seems to be from the same edition, 180-274 leaves in the original, this copy has 181-273 leaves. At the end is Sefer Yetzirah chapter 3 with the same prayer to recite before reading. With a techina which was traditionally learned in Israel.
Old leather bindings from the period, stains, various defects, overall good condition.
