A RUSSIAN SILVER RELICS CROSS AND PANAGIYA, 17 C.
A relic Russian Orthodox cross executed in silver with niello-finish and Panagia of a characteristic form with an embroidered icon of St. Mary. Both pieces are accompanied by chains with links designed according to the Russian silver craftsmanship of the period.
Dimensions: L: panagiya (excluding chain): 3 3/8 in., (8.5. cm.)L: cross (excluding chain): 3 in., (7.8 cm.)
Condition: Very good considering the age, minor silver loss
