A RUSSIAN GARDNER PORCELAIN FIGURINE LATE 19TH C
An antique porcelain figurine "Jew the Egg Seller". Depicts a man wearing striped harem pants, a long patterned shirt and a blue apron. He holds the tray covered with a cloth with one hand and holds an egg with the other. The figurine is made realistically, neatly painted, there are slight abrasions on the paint layer. On the bottom there is an overglaze red stamp from the Gardner factory in Moscow under a two-headed imperial eagle.
