ERNST HEINKEL
(1888 - 1958) German aircraft designer and manufacturer, and member of the Nazi party. His company produced the Heinkel He 178, the world's first turbojet aircraft and jet plane, and the Heinkel He 176, the first rocket aircraft, along with successful bomber aircraft. Bold, full signature on the face of a 1947 air mail envelope postmarked in Washington. Fine.
