(1894 - 1949) Soviet Marshal, chief of staff of the Crimean Front, fought in the Ukraine and then assisted in the capture of most of Bulgaria and Yugoslavia. Partly-printed D.S., 2pp. 4to., 1947, a military attestation of Colonel Alexander Buslavsky, Commander of Artillery of the 75th Infantry Division. Tolbukhin signs at the bottom of the second page, adding 'Cooperates to occupied position. [Must] pay attention on eliminating weaknesses mentioned in the attestation.' Tiny holes at left margin where previously disbound, else fine.
