FRIEDRICH HASELMAYR
(1879 - 1965) German politician of the NSDAP, lieutenant general and SA group leader. Until December 26, 1941, Haselmayr was in command of Field Command 569, then served as commander of Oberfeldkommandantur 579 in Volhynia. T.L.S. on his personal letterhead, 1p. 4to., Lochham bei Munchen, July 19, 1960 in German to a researcher. In part: '...I feel like a historian today, which - at 81 years of age - I've been for 30 years with only a 2 1/2 year break during the Second World War...' He also includes brochures (not present) concerning some of his histories of Germany. Fine.
