(1895 - 1946) SS leader in the Soviet Union, personally responsible for ordering the deaths of 100,000 Jews and other 'undesirables'. Sentenced to death and hung at Riga. Good content and association war-date T.L.S., 1p. 4to., Dusseldorf, Aug. 17, 1940 to SS-Brigadefuhrer OTTO HOFMANN, Chief of the SS Race and Settlement Main Office. Jeckeln's letter advises that following the release of SS-Standartenfuhrer Raddatz to assume command of 25.SS-Standarte, SS-Obersturbannfuhrer Alfred Buchs will we available for service to the SS Race and Resettlement Office. Docketed, some marginal tears and a fold, file holes, still very good.
