GORDON GOLLOB
(1912 - 1987) German Luftwaffe ace, rose to the position of General der Jagdflieger, one of only 27 to receive the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds. S.P., 3.5 x 5.5 in. b/w, a photo postcard showing Gollob in a chest-up view, prominently wearing his Knight's Cross. Gollob signs boldly across the chest in blue ink. Fine.
