HANS KREBS
(1888 - 1947) Ethnic German Nazi Party member and SS-Brigadefuhrer from Czechoslovakia. From 1938 to 1945, he was government president in Aussig, later becoming the Reichsgau Sudetenland. Krebs was executed in Prague 1947. Fine association T.L.S. on his Regierungspraesident Aussig letterhead, 1p. 4to., [n.p., n.d.], an official SS printed form. Krebs sets forth his name, rank, and SS number above the printed statement: 'I am German, I am of Aryan heritage, I do not belong to any Freemason lodge or any other secret organization and I have never belonged to them before. And I promise to support the movement with all my strength…'. Boldly signed at bottom. File holes at left, else very good.
