Partly-printed D.S. by MATVEI ZAKHAROV (1898-1972), Marshal of the Soviet Union, Chief of Staff of the Kalinin Front and the Steppe Front where he helped plan a number of brilliant operations against German forces, and ALEKSEY ZHADOV (1901-1977), Soviet military officer who commanded the 66th Army from the Battle of Stalingrad up till the end of the war, 4pp. sm. folio, [n.p.], 1959, a military attestation for Colonel Konstantin Likhosherst, Depeuty Commander of the 19th Motorized Infantry Division. Zakharov signs as Commander of Soviet Troops in Germany in light blue ink on the top of the fourth page. Zhadov as Deputy Commander of Infantry Troops of the USSR in dark blue ink on the bottom of the fourth page. Very good to fine condition.
