OTTO KRETSCHMER
(1912 - 1998) U-boat ace, he became famous on his U-99 for his night-time surface attacks against convoys, and there his motto 'One torpedo ... one ship' was created. S.P., 3 x 4.5 in. b/w, a later copy of a chest up pose in uniform by Hoffmann, signed across the chest in black ink. Very good.
