SOVIET UNION EXECUTES RUSSIAN SAILOR FOR DISCREDITING HEADS OF STATE
Great content Soviet criminal dossier, 18pp. most 4to., issued on Jan. 12, 1942 by the Third Department of the People's Commissariat of the Navy, ordering the execution of sailor Vasili Grigorevich Dementyev for carrying out anti-Soviet agitation and discrediting the Heads of the Soviet government. According to the dossier, Dementyev - who served in the White Sea Navy Flotilla on a minesweeping ship - would be 'sentenced to death without confiscation of belongings, because of a lack of those'. Largely untranslated, yet clearly quite detailed. Very good to fine condition.
