SS MAN IS MARRIED WITHOUT RACIAL APPROVAL
Interesting early T.L.S. on 'Der Reichsfuhrer-SS Race and Resettlement Head Office' letterhead, 1p. oblong 8vo., Berlin, Feb. 24, 1940 to SS-Oberscharfuhrer Hans Weissenbock. In part: 'Since you have already married - without approval - your continuance as a member of the SS is dependent on your obtaining a subsequent approval of your marriage...return the enclosed forms, completely filled in, to the Race and Resettlement HQ of the SS, as soon as possible...' File holes, else very good. Weissenbock would later become a leading figure in the SS racial training department and would receive the German Cross in Gold.
