HEINRICH HOFFMANN NEGATIVES: HITLER, ROSENBERG, DIETRICH, AND OTHERS (7)
Excellent grouping of seven glass plate and acetate negatives from the studio of HEINRICH HOFFMANN, Hitler's personal photographer who shot almost every top military and civilian leader of the Third Reich. Included in this impressive collection is: ADOLF HITLER in right profile traversing a room, five others present (5 x 4 in. glass, in envelope: 'Blocked from Publication!'); HERMANN GORING in uniforming, full-length, shaking the hand of an S.A. officer (5 x 4 in. glass, in envelope: 'Blocked'!); ALFRED ROSENBERG in chest, up portrait in uniform (5 x 7 in. glass); SEPP DIETRICH, a stern portrait in civilian garb (3.75 x 4.75 in. acetate, in numbered glassine); and three 3.5 x 4.75 in. glass plate group poses of unknown individuals. Overall very good to fine condition.
