S.A. DAGGER WITH SCABBARD
S.A. dagger by Eichhorn, with scabbard. This dagger has been slightly abused over the years. The woord grip bears authentically mounted SA button and eagle, but the pommel was secured so tightly, small chips of wood splintered at the top of the grip. Crossguard and pommel show average wear, the crossguard further marked with a stamped 'Wf' on one side. The blade, which does not meet the crossguard exactly and hence may not be original to the dagger, was very heavily corroded at some point and was cleaned and salvaged. The black painted scabbard is present, with hanger, although the fittings bear a few spots of pitting, and the scabbard is slightly dented and the paint well-worn. Estimated accordingly.
