CZECH RESISTANCE ANNOUNCES THE DEATHS OF REVOLUTIONARIES
Memorial roadside published by the Czech Resistance, 16.75 x 12 in., announcing the deaths of dozens of fellow revolutionaries ' due to the terror of the German Gestapo' on May 7, 1945, listing the names and job titles of the deceased. Beneath this, the publication adds dozens of additional names of citizens 'who died in the air bombing of May 9,1945'. The conclusion indicates that funeral services will be held, adding one final exhortation: 'I swear, your deaths will be avenged!' Folds, two marginal tears, archivally repaired on the reverse, else fine.
