Martin Bormann's copy of a telegram sent to him By Eva Braun, 1p. oblong 8vo., sent by Braun in Capri on May 9, 1938 to Bormann at his retreat in Berchtesgaden. In full: 'Dear Herr and dear Frau Bormann From Capri I send you my warmest congratulations again. Your Eva Braun' Fine. Hitler arrived in Rome to meet Mussolini on May 3, 1938 accompanied by Goebbels and Ribbentrop as well as some five hundred party officials, diplomats, security guards and journalists in three trains. Eva Braun was with him, but her attendance at formal functions would have been unseemly, so...she went to the beach. Fine condition.
