A fine group of three relics related to Marine-Flak-Abteilung 804, a battalion of the 24. Marine-Flak-Regiment, which defended Brest against Allied air attacks. Includes: hand-carved wood box, 7 x 4 x 2.5 in., depicting an anti-aircraft gun surrounded by oak leaves and acorns on the lid. The sides bear the carved inscription: '6./804 Kriegsweihnacht Atlantikkuste 1943' ('War Christmas Atlantic Coast 1943'). In very good condition. WITH: A silver presentation cup, approx. 2.25 x 2.25 in. dia., marked on the base as being manufactured by Christofle of Paris. The side bears the Marine Flak Abteilung 804 crest, and the base is marked '6./804 Abschussbeteiligung Atlantikkuste' along with five dates in March and April of 1941. Shows minor tarnish overall, else very good. WITH: a silver alloy ring, approx. 0.75 in. dia., depicting the Marine-Flak-Abteilung 804 crest. The interior is engraved: '1940-1941 Abteilung Grabenhorst'. The designs shows some softening to the details from wear, else very good. Three pieces.
