INERT 'POTATO MASHER' GRENADE GROUPING
Good pair of inert German 'potato masher' grenades, each approx. 14.25 in. long with 2.25 in. dia. head. One bears fragmentation sleeve at the head, with wooden handle, pull cord, and screw cap, dated '1939' at the top with waffenamt marking 'Wa. A. 564'. The other reads 'VOR GEBRAUCH SPRENGKAPSEL EINSETZEN' at the side of the head, yet both head and screw cap at bottom unable to be removed. Each very good condition, sold as is.
