Great limited-edition print celebrating the U.S. Springfield Artillery Musketoon Model 1847: 'Too Close to Skedaddle' by DALE GALLON, 19.25 x 16.5 in. (sight), no. 515/950, showing a Union soldier sniping at a Confederate soldier, captioned: 'This looks like one of Mosby's boys. He must be in a tight spot, trying to sharpshoot with an old yankee smoothbore musketoon.' The bottom-right corner bears a picture and description of the musketoon, while the artist signs in pencil at the lower-right. Double-matted and framed to a total size of 24 x 22 in. Sold with a COA.
