(1884-1972) 33rd President of the United States who led the country in the closing days of World War II and through the re-building of Europe under the Marshall Plan and the Korean War. Great S.P., 10 x 8 in. b/w, showing Truman standing with an unidentified man and FRANK CLEMENT (1920-1969), the Governor of Tennessee from 1953 to 1959 and from 1963 to 1967. Truman signs at bottom-right, adding the date '3/10/65' and the dedication: 'To Lt. Colonel & Mrs. Percy S. Chandler.' Clement also signs at the bottom-right corner. The verso bears a press stamp, and an identifying inscription in pencil. Fine.
