Lot of seven items, includes four press releases issued by the Kennedy White House: Nov. 29, 1961 exchange of letters between Kennedy and CIA Director ALLEN DULLES immediately after the latter's resignation following the failed Bay of Pigs invasion; June 5, 1961 remarks to the Ambassador and employees of the U.S. Embassy in London; Nov. 16, 1961 comments made at a dinner in honor of Sen. Warren Magnuson; and Apr. 3, 1961 comments as he signed a copy of the Gettysburg address gifted to Brazil. SOLD WITH: three period photos of the president: 11 x 14 in. b/w in., showing him in robes at a dedication at Amherst Library, trimmed; 11 x 14 in. b/w, showing a full standing view, from a dusty negative, and a 10 x 8 in. b/w press photo showing Kennedy greeting Dulles in Hyannisport. Some flaws, generally very good.
