MAO BUST ON PEDESTAL
Bisque bust of Mao Zedong, approx. 6 x 4.5 x 2 in., on a freestanding red-painted terracotta pedestal, approx. 5.25 x 2.5 x 3.75 in. The pedestal in decorated with a molded image of the Tiananmen gate, with the slogan 'Long Live Chairman Mao!' and the character for 'Loyalty', and the underside of the bust bears the maker's mark of the Fuyang Xiangdong porcelain factory in Guangdong Province. Some wear and soiling from age, else very good.
