(b. 1930) American astronaut, Command Module pilot for the Apollo 11 mission. His signed memoir: 'Carrying the Fire' (New York: Ballantine Books), 1974. 477pp. 8vo. Second ed., in hardcover and dust jacket. Collins signed in black marker on the title page. Dust jacket worn at the edges with one flap being clipped at the corner, else fine.
