CARPET FRAGMENT FROM POPE JOHN PAUL II'S CENTRAL PARK MASS
A fine piece of Catholic history, a 2.5 x 2.5 in. triangular fragment of yellow carpet, stood upon by Pope John Paul II during his Oct. 7, 1995 Mass in Central Park, New York. Ornately placed between a 10.75 x 8.5 in. wooden presentation case, along with an explanatory note from a New York floor coverings company, with a color image of the Mass in the background. Interior of the glass a bit dirty, yet could be easily cleaned. Very good to fine condition.
