CHARLES MANSON SONG LYRICS
(1934 - 2017) Drifter whose 'family' committed the infamous Tate-LaBianca murders in 1969. His handwritten song lyrics on yellow lined paper (unsigned), 1p. sm. folio, largely incoherent, but reading in part: '...soon there will be prayers & candles that are said I know but let them not weep. Let them know I'm glad to go. Somehow in death I'll too be cressing you with the last breath of my soul I'll be blessing you...little white flowers will never awaken you - not where the black cock of sorry has taken you...' Folds, slightly scorched at left, one burn hole, else very good to fine. From the estate of Manson's biographer NUEL (MELTON) EMMONS (1927-2002), who had once been jailed with and later befriended Manson. He co-wrote 'Manson in His Own Words'.
