Dutch (Dutch) language.

[Pieter van der Schelling (Rotterdam, July 23, 1691-there, 1751) was a Dutch collector and researcher of antiquities, as well as a lawyer and pastor of the Remonstrant Brotherhood, who after marrying in 1717 to Alida van Alquemade (1684 / 1685-1742) began working together with his father-in-law Cornelis van Alquemade, also a collector of antiquities.

Alcemade was born on may 11, 1654, presumably in Rotterdam; but on a Cup presented to him in 1732 by the government of the city of Leiden, it is written: Cornelio van Alkemade, Leidensi.

After the death of Cornelis van Alquemade in 1737, Pieter van der Schelling continued his work and made notes on all projects in which Cornelis van Alquemade participated.]
