Jaccuse! [I accuse] - an early Notification about the dangers of Nazism. London, mid-1930s

Jaccuse! [I accuse] - The Nazi Pogrom on German jewry. published by the World Alliance for Combating Anti-Semitism. London, mid-1930s.

An early pamphlet issued in London to warn of the terrible consequences of the Nazi regime, and to provoke the coma of the world in the face of the harsh statements, and the antisemitic persecution in Nazi Germany. At the beginning of the booklet is a memorial page surrounded by a black frame, with the names of Jews who were murdered by the Nazis in their home or on the street for 'minor crimes'. Next to each of the names, a brief description appears of the horrific manner (in severe torture) and the place where he was murdered. then comes a "message from the Archbishop of York" published in May 1935 condemning the Nazi persecution and abuse of Jews. The booklet is accompanied by photographs of persecuted German Jewry in the 1930s since Hitler came to power, and anti-Nazi cartoons published in various forums and in the European press in France, the Netherlands, Prague, Germany, England, and America, In order to bring to the attention of the world the true face and intention of the Nazi regime. Also attached a special leaflet 'Manifesto' which briefly describes the allegations against Nazi Germany, and the intention of publishing the booklet.

In the introduction by S.M. SALMON which is sort of a prophecy, he describes the intentions of the Nazi regime and warns against the following: "The entire Jewish population in Germany is facing hunger, in the heart of Europe the sentence of Judaism to death is sentenced these days, without mercy, And the world is still not waking up to the magnitude of the tragedy. Hitler pursues a policy of deception, secretly he continues with plans to exterminate the Jews non-stop ...  The reassuring statements he sends abroad are sand that he sows in the eyes of the public, he lies on purpose, just as Goering lies when he declares in one day that the security of life and property of Jewish citizens is guaranteed, tomorrow he instructs the police not to protect Jewish shops ... just as Goebbels lies when he denies in the foreign press the existence of anti-Jewish violence in his country ... We must expose the hypocritical Nazi policy ... Day after day, hour after hour renewed decrees addressed solely to Jews, even on the children they not missed. There is no sign of restraint or change ... The blood of hundreds of thousands of innocent Jews is on Hitler's head ... we will fight for the restoration of human rights for the Jews of Germany ... ".

The booklet itself is in English, but the word 'Jaccuse! 'I accuse' appears on the cover in French, in the same format as Emile Zola's famous 'Jaccuse' published in the 1898 French newspaper L'Aurore in the Dreyfus affair.
