Holy coin - Hanukkah gifts given from the holy hands of the Gaon HaTzaddik Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund zt'l - Rabbi of Satmar and Jerusalem. Given on Hanukkah 1995 about a year before his passing.


The genius Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund, [1904-1996]. Born in Hungary to Rabbi Israel Freund, rabbi of the city of Hunyadh and son of Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Freund. He lost his wife and eight sons in the Holocaust. He then briefly served as Rava'd of Satmmer. Immigrated to Eretz Israel and was appointed head of the "Yitav Lev" yeshiva of the Satmmer Chassidut in Jerusalem. After the death of Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum, the Rebbe of Satmar, in 1979 he was appointed Rabbi of the Haredi community. In Sivan 1989, he was appointed Rabbi of the Haredi community following the death of the "Minchat Yitzchak", Rabbi Yitzchak Yaakov Weiss. His innovations and sermons were printed in the "Ateret Yehoshua" book series.
