Specimen Banknote - Ten Israeli Lirot - "The Scientist" - Series B of the Israeli Lira - The Series of Figures, 1959 - UNC Condition - Rare
The specimen banknotes are banknotes with the inscription "Specimen" on them in red ink, which were printed whenever a new series of banknotes were issued. The Bank of Israel sends these banknotes to the central banks of countries that have commercial relationships with Israel or have incoming tourists from Israel, so that they will recognize the banknotes and be able to identify forgery.
