Hejaz Railway Construction Donation Receipt - 1896
Receipt for donation to the Hejaz Railway operation, apparently to aid the Ottoman soldiers who participated in the railway road construction. The Hejaz Railway ran from Damascus to Medina, through the Hejaz region of modern day Saudi Arabia, with a branch line to Haifa, Palestine. Arabic letters. Turkey, the Ottoman Empire, 1896.
Approximately 14X13 cm. Good condition, creases, tears, a folding mark, wear.
