Imrei Bina’. Rabbi Israel Salanter. Warsaw, 1878
Imrei bina’, a group of articles from Rabbi Israel Salanter. Published during his life by his grandson Rabbi David Sidersky. Warsaw, 1878. Only Edition. 52 pg. 17.5 cm. The grandson mentions in his preface that his grandfather edited the saying himself, and he organized it in a clear understandable language. Includes four articles from Rabbi Israel Salanter, founder of the ‘Mussar’ movement. The last article is an argument he heard from his grandfather, and it is one of the only Halachic article he agreed to have published in his name. Rabbi Israel was known as a world genius in all the Sugyot of the Talmud, and would give hours and hours of lectures, but he never agreed to print and publish them. The writer passed away on the 25th of Shevat 1883. This is the first composition to be published in his own name.

Pages: 52.
