מכתב מאת האדמו"ר רבי מנחם מנדל שניאורסון – הרבי מליובאוויטש, חתום בחתימת יד קדשו. ברוקלין, ניו יורק, "ימי חנוכה" תש"כ [1960]. "ימי הסליחות... שנת המאתים להסתלקות הילולא של הבעל שם טוב ז"ל".
מודפס במכונת כתיבה על נייר מכתבים רשמי של הרבי, חתום בחתימת יד קדשו, בתוספת שתי מילים בכתב-ידו.
נשלח אל הרה"ח אברהם פריז (תרמ"ט-תשכ"ח), מחשובי חסידי חב"ד, בא כוח המרכז לענייני חינוך ומבקר מוסדות חב"ד בארץ הקודש. במכתבו מברך הרבי: "ויהי רצון אשר כתוכן והתעוררות ימי חנוכה אלו, שענינם הדלקת הנרות... הנה כן יהי' בהפעולות בקדש במשך כל השנה, להוסיף בנר מצוה ותורה אור, ובנר ה' נשמת אדם של עצמו ושל הזולת, מתוך שמחה... בברכה לבשו"ט בכל האמור ולחנוכה שמח".
