Collection of Rabbi Shragai's letters as chairman of HaPoel HaMizrachi, and with the establishment of the state, as mayor of Jerusalem. As a result of his extensive public activities, he was faced with many questions of religion and state. This lot includes eight letters in which he turns to the gaon Rabbi Yechiel Michel Tukachinsky with current critical questions, such as: Whether it is permissible to be a member of a kosher ship company, but the Jewish workers, we will assume, would transgress Shabbat on the ships.
