Chok Natan, by Rabbi Natan Burgil of Tunisia, with important glosses and a special dedication
Chok Natan, by the Gaon Rabbi Natan Burgil, of Tunisia. This book consists of chiddushim on Seder Kodshim and on tractate Horayot.
The owner’s name appears on the title page (in Sephardi script), “This belongs to the chacham, head of the Beit Din and teacher of the holy congregation of Tunis…Eliyahu Burgil.”
There is also a dedication to Rabbi Moshe Yom Tov (possibly a dedication by the author!)
In Magdanot Natan a few notes were written on the page and between the columns, in square script.
The Chid"a called Rabbi Natan Burgil (1720-1792) an exceptional an outstanding rabbi among the rabbis of Tunisia. He was also head of the Beit Din. Complete. Fine condition, 29 cm
